Founder & CEO Spero Georgedakis personally joined Ambassador Guilfoyle in Athens during the transition. While on the ground, he attended a reception honoring the 250th Anniversary of the United States Marine Corps—an experience he described as both “a profound honor” and a deeply personal moment as a first-generation Greek American.

Also supporting the assignment was John Rourke, Good Greek’s Director of Government and International Relocation Services. A 16-year U.S. Army veteran and seasoned relocation expert, John brings unmatched discipline, security, and operational precision to every government and diplomatic move. His leadership ensured the Ambassador’s relocation was seamless, confidential, and executed to the highest professional standard.

During their time in Athens, Good Greek leadership attended several high-level diplomatic and cultural engagements, including a private dinner hosted by Ambassador Guilfoyle. Senior U.S. Cabinet officials—such as Secretary of Energy Chris Wright and Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum—were among the distinguished attendees. Conversations focused on strengthening U.S.–Greece relations, regional stability, and emerging energy opportunities in the Eastern Mediterranean.
