It’s understandable that people have concerns about making a move during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Some might feel uncertain about making a move with all that is happening. Good Greek Moving and Storage has taken every step possible to address those concerns.
In a video you can watch on our site, Good Greek founder and CEO Spero Georgedakis talked about his company’s commitment to handling moves safely during the coronavirus. As usual, he started by putting the emphasis where he always puts it: On the customers.
“I know the difficulties we’re facing, and our hearts are with those who have been affected by the COVID-19 virus,” Georgedakis said. “But I also know that as Americans we will come back, stronger than ever.”
Taking Precautions For Customers
The first thing that Good Greek customers should know is that the company has always been committed to keeping trucks sanitized. “We’ve always sanitized our trucks,” Spero said in a recent interview. “We have sanitization kits and we wipe down the steering wheel, we wipe down the dashboard, and of course we always sanitize the back of the truck before and after every move.”
He noted the same is done with the company’s storage units. That level of commitment has always been part of the Good Greek Moving & Storage business practice.
Now, they’ve taken those practices even further. For example, they offer customers the chance to leave their homes as the professional movers do the heavy lifting.
“If it makes the customer more comfortable, once the men are there and they see that the men are working diligently and they know that they can trust us, they can leave,” Spero said. “They can go run their errands, do what they need to do, and that’s it. We can do it for them.”
Good Greek has also ensured that any employee who reports having symptoms will not work on any jobs.
The response to COVID-19 will continue to evolve as the situation changes. But as Spero said, Good Greek Moving & Storage will always be here to help.
